Today, Tesla China's official announcement is that the domestic Model 3 has officially cut its price by 10,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan. The original model of the domestic Model 3's standard life-long upgrade sold for $10,000, reducing the price by $10,000, minus the $10,000 subsidy, and went down below $300,000 for the first time.
Meanwhile, another new Tesla car, Model Y, has been updated to sell in China for three versions, starting at $10,000. The price is still estimated, of course, and the actual price is subject to final publication for reference only.
Among them, the Model Y rear-wheel-drive long-haul version costs $10,000, with a range of 540 km (WLTP estimate), a maximum speed of 209 km\/h, and a 0-100 km\/h acceleration second.
The dual-motor full-wheel-drive long-haul version costs $10,000, has a range of 505 km (WLTP estimates), with a maximum speed of 217 km\/h and 0-100 km\/h acceleration seconds.
Double-motor full-wheel drive Performance High Performance Edition $10,000, range 480 km (WLTP estimate), maximum speed 241 km\/h,0-100 km\/h acceleration seconds.
Model Y and Model 3 are understood to be on the same platform and will share about three-quarters of their car parts, which is important for reducing manufacturing costs.
Model Y is positioned in a five-door medium-sized SUV with a 7-seat version available. Like the Model 3, it supports a Tesla overcharging system with a maximum charging power of up to 250 kW.
